Invitation

 We are pleased to invite you to a Concluding Event of of the meeting series "Women Lead Environmental Change in a Shared Arab-Jewhish pace in Galilee", within the framework of the Kulanana project.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 28th arch, 2018, between 15 -18 in Ba’ana (near Karmiel).

Program:

15:00     Gathering near the local council building.

15:30     A tour in the Ba'ana village, targeting local environmental hazards, guided by the women of local group “Friends to 

              the Way”.

17:00     Gathering at the Veteran Residents Hall (next to the Local Council building) for Panel discussion.

Panel Moderator: Carmit Lubanov, AEJI

The discussion will be with attending of MK Aida Touma Suleiman, Chair of the Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women and Gender Equality in the Knesset, Mr. Hussam Head of Ba’ana Local Council, public figures and participants in the program.

The discussion will address the following questions:

What influences our vision and activies to live in a better residential environment?                                                                    What is the role of Women in leading environmental change in the community?  and                                                          How we can build local "Women's Force" that will lead environmental change in the villages.

Please note – the discussion will be conducted in Hebrew and Arabic.
